Right. I guess that makes sense. Finn.. He died. Almost two years ago. It was a car accident.

… Rachel, I honestly had no idea. If I would have known, the last thing I would’ve… I am so sorry.

Oh. So you don’t know.

Didn’t know? I’ve been a little bit out of the loop for the past few years, so forgive me if I sound clueless. What happened?

Oh, you’re in New York? Did you already graduate from Yale, or..? Either way, it’s good to hear you’re doing well. We’ll have to get together sometime. I’ve missed you, too. I’ve missed everyone, really. Kinda fell out of touch with everyone except for Blaine.

I’m alright. New York is.. good. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. It really has been, hasn’t it? It kinda feels like just yesterday we were all in the choir room together.

I did end up graduating, but I picked up and moved out here pretty shortly afterwards. Turns out the whole Theatre major thing didn’t exactly work out the way I planned, but I feel like photography is what I’m meant to be doing anyway, so I’m not mourning too much. Everyone, though? I figured you and Finn would be an old married couple by now. I was totally Team Finchel.

Oh my god, Quinn Fabray?

I’ve actually changed a little since high school - grown up, you know? But it’s to be expected. I should hope you’d still think I’m wonderful. Hahaha. How are you? Fill me in on what’s been going on with you! Graduated from Yale at the top of your class?

I don’t think it’s possible for me to not think you’re wonderful; you’re pretty much the definition of the word. Not too much on my end, though. Graduated, ditched New Haven the moment I realized just how much I didn’t belong there — well, not the exact moment; it took a little bit of soul searching. School was wonderful, but I think I’m better off where I’m at now.

Well, there’s a name I haven’t seen in awhile. Hello, Quinn. How are you? How have you been?

Not bad at all! I’ve been meaning to get in touch, actually; figured since we’re finally in the same city again, there’s not much of a point in the whole ‘let’s forget about high school and suddenly be strangers’ ordeal. Can’t say I haven’t missed you, Rachel.

And you? How’s the city treating you? It’s been so long.

Oh my god, Quinn Fabray?

uptownblaine:

It’s been years! How have you been?

You know, I thought I saw a few familiar faces on my dash.
It’s definitely been a long time! Life’s not awful, though; trying to make a living without losing my mind out here. How about you, Blaine? Still as dapper and wonderful as you were in high school, I’m guessing?
